View Full Version : carbs
have a V-4 Crossflow, 1980. Boat stalled on acceration, pulled carbs and cleaned them. Now top 2 carbs spray fuel from top of the emulsion tubes when motor is idling, none from bottom 2 carbs. Which is right, should it come out or should it not. What is my problem

did you r'n'r the freeze plugs* too? i found a couple of mild blockages in those tiny little holes underneath them. glad i checked though, because the rest of the carbs were SPOTLESS. i was seriously tempted NOT to check under there, because they were so clean. DO IT, if you haven't.
*i know that's not what they are really called. :)
