175 vs 200 merc

whats the difference between a 1994 175 merc and a 1994 200 merc besides the hp rating? both carburated.. thanx!

From what I have read, the front half of the motor is different. Reeds, carbs etc. Change the front half and you have a 200.

the porting is different nothing else all parts are interchangable
