I have a my motor is "Suppose to be" a 2.4 bridgeport EFI the numbers I found on the block are A953032 and a number close to that one is 12286 I am guessing that is the date? the serial # on the mid is 0G276381 I am a little unsure about the last digit on that I am pretty sure the mid is not the one for the powerhead and it is a EFI with a horn

mid is 93 fishing motor if the build date is 12 28 86 it will be a 87 year model the build date is located at the bottom of #2 cylinder near mating flange not sure about the A number is it a unpainted block front heads etc??

hmm i ran your mid section serial number thru mercury Midas it came back a fishing motor mid does it have a 3 ram trim it should have with that number is it a horn motor? i have a 88 Bridgeport in a box with some very nice upgrades i just have not got around to assembling it all

where are the serial numbers on the block located to be sure of what it is I am begining to doubt that it is a 240hp 2.4Bridgeport

on hipo blocks they are on the mating flanges ( where the front half bolts to the block)

Texas yes it is a horn motor and it only has one ram I am glad im confusing someone else besides myself I think Johnny Cash put this thing togeather ":One piece at a time" lol

hmmm now a 0C276xxx motor could be a a 2.4 BP

your other number could also be a BP i just cant look them up on the 2009 version of midas the one in the shop will but the puter took a dive last week:D
