Gear Ratio

How do I find out without taking it apart what the gear ratio my 2 hole CLE gearcase is ?

Take the plugs out. Mark the flywheel and propshaft. With the motor in forward turn the flywheel exactly 4 turns. If the propshaft turns exactly 2 rotations then it's a 2 to 1. If it turns a little more than 2 rotations it's a 1.87.
