I AQUIRED A DRAG BOAT FROM LONG ISLAND IT HAD A 1500XS ON IT ITS 15 FT & IS RED & WHITE & THE NAME REDLINE WITH A PICTURE OF A TACH IS PAINTED ON THE BOAT
ANYONE FROM LONG ISLAND KNOW OF THIS BOAT?
I WAS TOLD IT MIGHT BE A ROYAL CRAFT ,I WOULD POST A PIC BUT I DONT HAVE A SCANNER OR DIGI CAMERA
IT ALSO HAS ON THE BOW WHAT LOOKS LIKE A Z28 HOOD SCOUPE BUT ITS NOT AN ADD ON IT APPEARS TO BE PART OF THE MOLD ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED;)
THE BOAT IS A CENTER STEER SINGLE SEAT

I think, without seeing a photo, that this is a 15' Laser V-bottom--about a 1980 or 81 model. It was raced in J-Production in the early to mid-1980s (82-86) by Richie Blauman. I raced against it for three years with a 16' Laser/140 Evinrude.
