That's impressive. Does it work like you had hoped and about how much time do you have in it. Beautiful work.

The hub was buildt from the center with balanced parts og the blades was taken down to 175 grams each so I think thats enough.
Worked as expected, havent had so much time for testing yet, but the main reason for making this prop is to get better at modifying propellers, and making them from the start is the way I think you will learn the most.
Used about 20 hours to make this, next up is to make one for my own boat, a 20feet Twister with a blueprinted Yam 90 regulated for UIM rules to the Offshoreracing class 3-B

The propeller will be comparable to a Merc cleaver 14,5" - 27pitch.

Does anyone have a good idea how to make the splined part by my self?

A broach is the best way to cut the splines. But expensive to buy and not an easy tool to make.

Do you have access to an old shaper? It would be slow but can get the job done.

I like your project. Very nice work.

Nice wor !! Tooling for this would be an expensive unit. My cousin makes screws for a living all cut and tooled. He brooches Allen heads and said you may be able to by the stock? I will have him look into it more if you would like?
