hi, does anyone know the difference, if any, in these two switch boxes 332-7778A12 and 332-7778A14.

Looks like one is listed as a racing switchbox and the other is standard. The A14 costs about twice as much. I assume your question is whether they are interchangeable??

the a12 is stock, the a14 is high performance. the two boxes have different bias circuit values. You MUST use a pair with the same bias circuit values. DO NOT mix them. Steve

Is it ok to use the a12 on my 2.5 revving to 6500rpm?

In other words, will the A12 be ok to use with 16amp electrics?

a12 was used on 225 Pro Max as well as fishing engines and a lot of guys have twisted 11k with a12 s Steve
