I currently live in the Midwest (Southwest Missouri), but I’ve started looking at some Job opportunities in Georgia…specifically around the Pembroke, Ellabell, Black Creek areas. I’ve never been out there, or anywhere in Georgia for that matter. As far as buying a home goes….are there certain areas to stay away from? What are the taxes like? How’s the cost of living? How’s the crime? What’s the weather like? Just trying to get a general overview of the area to see if it’s someplace I would like to settle down at. I know it’s close to the ocean, but are there any good lakes/rivers around there?
I’m in my early 30’s single, no kids, and looking for a place where I can get a great job and work hard during the week, but still have fun enjoying the outdoors on the weekends…boating, camping, fishing, atving…..
Anything else I need to know about that area?
