Paul Hastings in Little Rock, AR. put this together in the '60's. Can't remenber if 1350's or what with speedmasters. Straight was fine but turning was not the strong suit. He sold it in the '70's
and has a reward for anybody that can find it. Only Glass Magic Bansee I ever saw, then or now.

Those engines look like they are probably 67's, maybe 1100's. The top chrome on the engines was gone in 68 and the 1350's didn't come until 1970.

Neat boat, but what could he've been thinking with that scoop? It looks like some kinda Ramchargers reject and couldn't have done anything but slow the boat down.

The big scoop was plumbed down to the large two or three steps in the middle of the hull. There was 3-4 holes that let it vent behind the center pad. Kinda like a three point in reverse. Thats why it rocked side to side in the turns. Somewhere I've got a picture showing the bottom taken from the engines, somewhat strange.

OH is that COOL to see
It needs shutter or large butterflys to close the scoop off for a corner. Then open them back up once she is pointed in the right direction....? Active aero/hydrodynamics
VERY COOL!!!

Beaver I tried to mail you something by snail mail some time back re: the Stinger GP stuff in the outboarder, but your snail mail address wasn't right. Can you post that info here?
