What is the rev-limiter for a stock 1998 260 with stock factory ecu?

Wow, this is amazing. I have some extra parts from my 260 and a potential buyer wants to know about my extra stock ecu and honestly I dont know the rev limiter, which was a question I was asked. Sorry you Bozo's and your loser hunts dont approve of me asking a question about my own equipment.....You keep hanging with your buds Jason.....

Anyone with real knowledge thats not Gohr's butt buddy willing to help a fellow boater out?

Yes. 7500 or so. Depends on how hard you hit it. There's a soft "fuel" cutoff that comes in first, then a harder electronic cutoff that hits at around 7600.

As for Buzzin'...he's an OMC guy from WAY back. I've known him for the better part of 20 years. He's just jealous that your Evinrude is bigger than his Johnson ever was. :D
