wantin to know more about this tunnel

does anybody know if a 97 model areodyne boat 18 ft tunnel is any good? it looks to be in good shape but havent heard much on them. askin for help

i guess my take on it is if they copied the stv then the design is good as long as they didnt change anything...now the question is how well did they construct it...the only guy here on the board that says hes seen one says it wasnt built that well..i doubt he would have anything to loose or gain weather you bought the boat or not...so i guess with the lack of info the way to go about it would be to have the hull inspected by someone in your area with some experience and that knows what to look for...post something here on the board looking for someone in your area thats willing to take a look at this boat with you...if you dont have it checked you may be jumping into a potentially dangerous situation...the design is proven to be fast but if its poorly built...well you do the math

Edit: the other way to go is to be patient and wait for a good deal on a boat here on the board...most of the time other members can vouch for the condition & performance of the boat and it helps take a lot of the guess work out of the equation :thumbsup:
