1995 Evinrude 112, rev limiter??

Il be water testing this motor shortly, I assume this motor has a 5,800 limiter, from what I've read? I see a sticker on the pack, but it's unreadable. Is a new cdi box the only way to remove the rev limiter? Thanks, Sean

Factory original packs were 5800 rev limit. If you order a replacement from Bombardier, you will get another 5800 rev limit pack.

I used the cdi's on a 110 watch ebay they come up new for cheap. Rick

Ok, thr ones I've seen on ebay so far state the same 5,800 limit. Do you have cdi's part#, without the rev limiter?

I believe I found the correct one, cdi #113-4028. Says there's no limiter.
