I have a 17 ft Aqua Sport and I just upgraded my motor to a 150 hp Yamaha Pro V ..I had a 90 hp on it before this and it has a Single Cable Steering Set Up ... I know Hydraulic is the way to go im gonna have to wait a bit to get a sea star system ..I don't plan on running wide open until I get the sea star ... Can I run the Boat with the single cable for the time being if I keep it slow ?

Still Crazy

If you are like 99.9% of the people on this forum, you won't keep it slow. Dual cable at a minimum or better yet, hydraulic. Keep your eye out in the buy/sell forum for a used hydraulic system or check Craigslist through the Jaxed Mash website. Steering is a priority if you intend to go fast and keep it safe.
