just bought a voodoo and rigging it with a 3cyl omc. large case! do I need a hydraulic lift or will a manual lift work! just wondered if anyone knows how much is gained by the added lift after setting the motor where it will plane!

I asked around a lot when I had my Voo Doo and the consensus was no jack plate, top of bullet even with bottom of pad for recreational use. There's enough racers at Fastboat Canada to answer the question for racing.
