Help me out and refresh my memory please. :confused:

What fits on what?

2.4 ph on 2.0 mid?

2.5 ph on 2.4 mid? 2.0 mid?

2.4 ph on 2.5 mid?

I found a mid 80's mariner 2.0 150 with a bad power head and I really just need to know if a 2.4 200 ph will work on it, but, I'd also like to know what others are compatible in case this deal falls through.

Also, if the 2.4 will fit on the 2.0 mid, should the tuner be changed?

All will interchange with each other, no problem with any of them. I would not use the 2.0 tuner on a 2.4 or 2.5 unless it was a super heavy boat like a pontoon boat as the longer 2.0 tuner is designed more for bottom end torque.

early 2liters actually have bigger exhaust exits than tha 2.4's, but az Carter said, tha tuner iz LONG and restrictive on a 2fo or a 2.5...put'in a 2liter on a 2.4 or 2.5 will run into mismatch exhaust exit's(adaptor plates) but 2.4 or 2.5 on a 2liter stalk iz a piece ov cake!!...Change tha tuner to a 2.4 bell tuner(or a bob's bell, nex best to a 2fo 200)...Tha 2.4 tuner iz tha best all round tuner with a 2.4 or a 2.5!!!...JMO
