I have an '89 Johson GT200 which I'm trying to remove the powerhead from the mid and I can't get this thing to budge. I've removed the 6 bolts, 3 nuts from the studs and have lifting device hooked up vertically (and lower unit is removed). I've tried prying as well under cyl banks w/ crowbar and can't believe how seized this thing is. Am i missing something? Help!

Been a while taking an OMC powerhead off but isn't there two more nuts under the front of the powerhead.

The manual says V4@V6 4 screws & 1 nut on each side but I only have 3 screws & 1 nut on each side (plus 1 nut at rear). I see 1 more spot towards the front on each side like you're saying but no bolts are in there, just a hole. Anyway, I'm in the middle of a bathroom reno and can't waste any more time on this so am going to truck it to my dealer to pop this thing for me. Hope to be done bathroom this weekend then can proceed w/ boatmotor project

Okay, I'm a moron! Thought the long bolts that looked like they only held exhaust flange to mid section, only did that! Got it apart now. Thanks
