my buddy has a late 70s 16ft skeeter and i was wandering what the difference was in the skeeter and viper. looks like a viper but on the wings in the back the skeeter has two body lines were the viper has one. are the pads the same how do they perform. it has all problems like the viper as far as core, floor, stringers, and transome are concerned.

i believe it is the same pad. a friend is restoring a comp viper one, and he also has a skeeter odyssey, he said they are identical on the pad and first strake.
i do know that the deck and hull joint is shoe box style, whereas stream used a stacked joint, that was glassed.

Is it a Baby Wrangler. If so I think they have very similar hulls. Almost a pop with a few changes. For their day that Skeeter bass boat was fast, especially a few that were floating around with 150's on them
