WMH 23 carbs ??????????

I bought a 245 ported to 300 Drag specs it came with these carbs any opinion on them or ideas on a better set of carbs

Thoze are 2liter carbs...

Best bet is lazer injection with pcu or acu. Carbs may not give enough fuel. Todd

The better carbs ar 15s 20s 22s 46s 48s but they all 2.4l work good on stock 2.5 but dont think they can fuel a mod 2.5. maybe some of the 245 carbs. Todd

I have bored 22's that I run on my F-1, and have had them on a steel bore, Drag cut 2.5 wit 280#s compression.....No bad effects, and gave it ever thang it need'd!!

the motor is ported to 300 drag with steel sleeves with 150 psi comp. and it has killed #6 twice now. going to put egt's on it now and change carbs

have you checked the jets just because Mercury's manual says they are for a 2.0 150 does not mean mercury boys in the hipo department did not put them on a 245 we recently got a set from a very reputable shop that they pulled off a virgin 245 never been into they were wmh 7 also off a150 but they were jetted just like the 245 carbs were supposed to be jetted. i bought a set of wmh 36 off a 245 they were jetted the exact same so go figure

U may have anuther problem other than a carb...If it wuz insufficient fuel delivery(bekause ov too small carbs) it would not juss single out one cyl!!!....JMO
