I went and had a look at this thinking it might be a good project.
I no nothing about these things how are they as a social ski boat ?
Do they handle lake chop or flat water only ?
Was thinking of putting a strong 2.4 I have on it.

My neighbor has the same 19' Eliminator, he loves it. Its a very stable boat and is better than most 19 footers in 2ft chop. He's got a 200 merc and it goes right around 80mph in good water(I dont think he wants to go any faster than that). I personally love the way they look, although Im not crazy about that particular paint job. Goodluck!

Thanks for the reply.
I hate the paint job :nonod: it needs to be redone anyway.
The hull seems to be in good condition just the gelcoat is faded real bad.

a friend special ordered a 19 with a efi brigeport 2.4 back in 1986,we slallomed behind it using a 24 chopper, it tracked decent, had no wake at slallom speeds & handled some chop ok,downside was propspray at anything more than 15 off,& when you skiied till you droped, was a bit hard to get back into the boat.

Nice boats with not much room for gear. See pics in my gallery.

My 21 is as good a rough water pod tunnel as you will find. When the motor is running right, it can tow skiers fine--can't say about the wake, I tend to tow tubers and kneeboarders. Boat is built well. I lk the pst '95 21 Liberator a little better (mor freeboard), but I doubt you have them down under.
I have seen a 21 with a swim step at the back of each sponson--I would expect that would be a good idea, not an easy boat to board from the water.

Thanks for reply's.
I only tow tubes and kneeboards as none of us can ski any good.
Mainly will use it a good fast toy.
Just waiting to see if the owner will drop the $$ now.
Cheers
