Just thought I'd share..............

Just hung a new motor on the boat. Went from a single Opti Rigging Hose, which is huge in diameter to dual hoses on a 300x. I had to find away to mount the smaller deck mount hose adapter over the huge Opti hole already in the deck. I made a couple of deck flanges and rubber gaskets to attach the smaller hose adapters over the huge hole. The biggest reason for the rubber gaskets (instead of silicone sealer) is that the deck area under the flanges toward the back has a slight radius in it, so the 3/16" thk. rubber compressed enough to provide a total seal.

Gary, this is about the third cool thing I've seen you build. It's kinda startin' bum me out. Would ya just dial back a little for those of us that are just happy to have boats that run!

LMAO.................Thanks Pete, that's very kind of you to say that. Ya gotta remember up here in Ohio it's freak'n cold and there's not much else to do. Since I have a shop in my well equipped and heated garage, I just go out and start make'n chips as they say. It's great to have the resources that I do at my disposal to turn a thought into a real solid item. I don't own anything that "STOCK"..........LOL

Thx again Pete,
