I’m considering swapping engines from a 2000 Evinrude Ficht Ram 200hp to a 2006 Yamaha 3.3L HPDI. The Yamaha will come with the wiring harness, key switch, and oil tank.

I believe my Seastar hydraulic steering ram will swap over. I know I need a new tachometer. I’m not sure on what else is required? How about the throttle control and trim gauge? Anything else?
Thanks

Thats all you need, you may want to consider a four cycle. The 3.3 does not like ethanol, and had several updates. Thanks Martin

I did the swap about 6 years ago. Once you go rice, you'll never go back!
If you have a Hot Foot, you will have to change it. Yamaha uses a different control cable configuration. The shifter cable will probably need to be changed as well. I just bought an entire control box and was done with it.
You will need a Yamaha trim gauge, the OMC one will not work. The tach and the rest of the gauges should be fine.
