I have a 23' step pad flats boat with a 250XS. Boat weight with motor is around 2000 pounds. I need more bow lift. What 4 blade prop has the most bow lift. I have looked at Mazco, Hoss, Hydromotive, Mercury and many others. I'm going for top speed, should I try a 3 blade Chopper?

Try a merc tempest for max bow lift... Chopper will work, but the 1st time it touches bottom it's trash. (thin blades)

I would try a Trophy Plus 4-blade. I've tried at least a dozen different types of props, and my stock Trophy has had the most bow lift so far. I did have a worked chopper that had a ton of lift once, but I still like the Trophy better.

Tropy is what I've use to get bow lift. Hard to beat it unless.... you're runnin' it near the surface.

I run mine about 1" under the pad. Any higher and it will loose a little bowlift at medium speeds, but seems to get it back when I'm running pretty fast. It's one of the only 4-blade props I've ran that will run that high....most of the other 4-blades I've tried like the Shooters and Renegades will slip like crazy when you run them at 1" under the pad. I really like my Trophy :D
