I'm upgrading to 56lb and wondered if the fuel pump that was on my 39lb regulator will work for 59lb?
It's a Bosch 0580254984, 12V 606 872-15
Those are all the numbers that are on it.
I looked around the Bosch site but they do not have much.
Thank you for amy help!

The pump puts out 50 gal per hour at 40lb psi, and 46 gal per hours at 60psi.
So I think I should be OK using this for 56lb regulator.
Any opinions, thoughts?
Thx!

Still need some help on this, or is this a dumb question?

Not a dumb question, and I wish I had the answer. There is a formula that will give you the number of gallons of gas per hour required to support any given horse power. You need to check your pumps flow against that number. If no one gives it here, check with Jegs or Summit and get Mallory's tech support phone number. I use Mallory only because I know they have it. Give them your horsepower and they will tell you how many GPH you need. If your pump exceeds that GPH rate at 56 psi, you're all set.
Less trouble than it sounds, and at least this is back on top incase someone has the GPH number. Post your HP just in case.

I am running a modified 260 EFI with an A-10 ECU.
Maybe if someone could tell me what pumps they run on thier 56lb set-up that I could get flow number on, I could compare to mine?
Thx!
Jay, John, you guys must know the answer to my question?
I have seen harder questions answered on this board by the techno geeks!
If it looks like this, its the "bigger" one. Use with 56lb regulator.
If it looks like this one, then use with 39lb regulator:
they look the same. Note the size and length of the discharge snout. They are different. The high capacity pump snout is longer and the fitting is further away from the body. Hope dis helps.

I will check tonight, I'm still at work.

1 gallon per hour per 10 HP. So a 300 horse should consume 30 g/h
I don't know if the pump is OK though, or not.

My pump is the big one, so I am OK for 56lb regulator. My dyno came in at 330hp (on dyno, let's not get into debate). My pump spec is 46 g/h at 60 lb.
So I am OK with techno's spec and my pump matches Waynes picture of the big pump with long snout.
So it looks like I am a-ok for upgrading to 56lb regulator and a-10 ECU :D
