ATV, warn 424 select unlocker question

Does anybody have one? My sons yamaha has one on it, It was sticking so I took the plunger apart to clean it. It looks like there should be two bearing balls in there, that drop into the detent/groove to lock it into 2wd. But there was only one. I had a bearing that I took apart and took one of the 1/8" balls from but it will not go back together with 2 in it. I wonder why they would put two receiver holes in the assembly if only one ball is required? It's possible thet one fell out while I was dissassembling it. but I don't think so.
Any help would be appreciated. I tried calling Warn but they were no help.

Well I got a responce from Warn, If anyone runs ito this issue, models with the removable red button have two detent balls, models with the button as part of the shaft only have one. (that is the one I have). Hopefully this will help someone at sometime. Most likely it will be me, when I take it apart again and forget.:):):)
