Back to my LU repaint, yeah, a 6 inch D/A, after a Mikita wire brush, but ya gotta do all the "corners", now. Screw the hand sand, (unless blasted, gutless shell..I would NEVER "sand blast", glass bead/ walnut shells, one fulla guts)
But I own a chithouse "Roloc's", 1/2 inch, to 3", fiber to rough grit, dozen "pencil grinders", best a 45°, and its the "tits"! Roloc's aint cheap, average $1 each, and heres a few pix, what I have. Probably a good $1000 worth..but to me.."Priceless!

Next a good "Prime Etch" paint, on not a clean case, some old paint left, then a top coat. Stuff it in the water spring, WOT, see what it looks like.

And hate to say it, but the Harbor freight, down to $30 with a coupon..(last flyer)..the damn Multi Tool, works wonders sanding corners. PLUS, have to admit, this old dumbazz, while doing the case last night, with the pencil grinder, wondering why a D/A, pencil grinder not made? Then the brain fart.."Multi Tool", dumb chit!:D

HA!...anything I paint looks that soon anyway! :eek:That was my first toolbox, probably 50 years old! My dad gave it to me fulla tools, so I'd stop using his stuff, and never put back! Thats the weld bench, lots of hammer (missed) swinging going on there, toolbox has just weld/torch stuff in it now. Plus I can drape it off, use as a paint booth..(can't beat a kitchen fan for exhaust!) About the only place I care less what it looks like, but damn functional! Has class...different paint dust, slag, grit from who remembers what, and don't pick on my vice!:p:D
