Mods to 2.5 150EFI to increase Performance

Let me try this again. Second timer, jumped on wrong thread first try. My apologies. I'm wondering what bolt ons I can do to increase performance. What tuner, reeds & cage, computor. Thanks

Reeds,200 tuner,and a little compression is about all you can do without port work and a computer,chris....but realize there's almost always more improvement waiting in prop and set-up than simple mods.

Thanks Chris, I played with set up. This is a 17' bass boat. I have top 4 holes plug on LU, 10" jack plate,4 blade Speneli 23+ custom prop. Boat won't lift with 3 blade. running 6200 rpm, 68mph. Got used to this. Looking for little more.

According to the year model , if the motor is garloc non O ringed heads compression increases IS the BIGGEST bang for the buck bar non ...Those motors have a very long tuner , a switch to a bell style 200 tuner helps also..

HeeHee send the block To J and let him make it spinn. Ya speed seems good for what ya got. Mill the front the back and raise the exhust.

If it was a slot motor i wouldn't do any thing to it but find anther block

Motor is a 1995 Mariner 150EFI 150 anniversary eddition(don't know if that makes a difference) What cc heads would you recomend. Saw some for sale. Thanks
