Does anyone have an idea how much a 1988 23 ft Eliminator Daytona weighs??
I want to lift it off of the trailer using my lift ( car lift ). Pull the trailer out and put it on a dolly.

Thanks,,,,,, Rock.........

Yes I weighed mine and was disappointed. I have 88 23 daytona with twin o/b's on a eagle trailier. A good friend of mine who is also a farmer just put in new digital scales. I took the boat up to his farm put it on the scales and with 50 gals of fuel it tipped at 5240 lbs (yuk). I also have a condo at Lake of the Ozarks and one of my neighbors owns a concreat plant just a couple miles from the condo and he told me I could weigh it up at his plant also. I took the rig up there and it was within 50 lbs of the farm scales. I took it back to the condo put it in the water and hauled the trailer up to the plant and weighed it...1360 lbs, so if yours is like mine it will be just under 4000 lbs heavy boat!!! Good luck.

What motors do you have? How much do you think they weigh? Maybe 400lbs ea. That brings it down to
3200 lbs minus fuel 300. That puts us at, 2900 lbs un-rigged Does that sound close?? The 23 is a fair sized boat.

I would guess that would be close give or take a couple of hundred pounds. I have twin 225's and I think they weight about 450 or so.

Do you have an O/B or I/O? Are you doing any bottom work?

I have a single O/B, no bottom work. I want to replece the floor, hopefully nothing more, but I've been down this road before.

I have been restoring mine for about 3 years now. I was worried when I pulled up the carpet. A good friend of mine said Eliminator builds good boats and he doubted if anything would be wrong with the floor and he was right.

Can't imagine a single on that boat. Have you ever had it in the water on a GPS or speedo? If your boat is as heavy as mine would think getting on plane with any weight would be a chore.

I was pretty lucky that this had been well maintained over the years and still in real good conditinon.
