Mercury switch box

I have a 2.5L 260hp merc that requires 2 x new switch box's.

Not sure which ones i need. I have been told the standard ones have a 7200 rev limit on them. Is this correct.

If so i want to get one with a rev limit over 8000. Can someone give me some info and a part number of the switch box i need.

Also a place to purchase at a good price if anyone knows.

Thats is NOT correct , you need part number 332-7778A14 ( Times 2 ) I'd stick with OEM electrical parts..

There is not rev limiters in switch boxes, I have a pair of standard fishing motor boxes on one of my motors that sees well into the 9's.
