thanks guys. im tryin to get them shaved to get 145 compression. so i also need to no what cc woould put it close to that so i can have them shaved

I did my 90 Bridgeport years ago they ended up at 33.8cc and cranking compression of 145psi at 3000' altitude, run about 10-15% race fuel and 92 premium just to be safe.
If I was you I would phone Jay Smith and get him to do it, he can talk to you and then cut your heads so there is no worry. I would guess that 35cc would put you in the ball park of 145psi at sea level, but he would know for sure. JMO

you can put clay in the until u get the compression your after just pull the spark plug and fill it up use georgia clay it works best see ya at the river budd!!!

Forgot to say I cut my heads at the same time motor was rebuilt, pistons, rings, brgs, etc. Depending on present condition of your engine you may not see the increase your looking for, if your motor is getting worn it may be wise to deal with the base engine and get it 100% before to many mods.
