1930 Henderson "Streamliner"
The motorcycling world loves a ‘barn find’, an old, obscure machine wheeled out of the woodwork for the first time.
And this is one of the biggest revelations of recent months.

Way back when, a friend mine, just kids, (born 1950)..started Mini's, then Vespa's/Cushmans. His dad had a 4CYL Indian, 2 Chiefs, a 56 Pan, and a new 65 "Electra Glide". He trusted us kids, as naturals, to ride them. Only 15 then. Showed us the foot clutch thing, Pan, spark the left grip, throttle right, Chief I think, throttle LEFT, spark right! We were only FIFTEEN! At 16, picked up a basket 57 T110, did the apes, in 1967..(pix to follow), shoved back in parents basement, knocked the sliders down, did "muffler clamps", to get a long front, now a "SOLID"..(hey I was a dumb kid!), and not in the pic, tossed the bars, did a piece "water pipe", for drag bars!.
Well, solid rear might work, NOT FRONT!:rolleyes::p
Sold it a year later for $300, as going to Nam...(and in 1967, raced it at old Illinois "Oswego Dragstrip..best time? 14.99, @99mph! Lotta fun back then..
Couple pix..(ignore the white socks and shirt..old G/F took it, just came back from a HS dance, into house, change into the 'Grubs"..go a ride). That was 1967, see the new 67 Mustang the rear? Damn, I had a great fun time "growing up"..(and still at it, last pic, a few back, West coat ride..still at it, at SIXTY!":D
