Where does prop diameter come into play. What would the difference be on a 30P prop at 14 1/4" dia. and lets say the same prop at 13 1/2" dia. used on the same boat.

Thank you. Other than surfacing/prop shaft height is that the only difference ? Like going from a 3:73 axle ratio (more blade surface) to a 4:11 ratio (less blade surface) ?

I think its more blade area = more bit and less slip.

On my big boat the smaller the wheel is the more it slips and the more it blows out. The rooster tail with a small prop is larger but the boat goes slower in my case.
