Rev Limiter

Hello

Do anybody know how to open the ECU ((Rev Limiter)) ?

becuase in my evinrude 250ho 2009 I have only 6000 Rpm in full throttle

Or someone can be able to open the ECU ((Rev Limiter)

Please help me and I would be grateful to you

Contact Shawn Hill at CDI 1-800-467-3371 might still be a good number. Been a while. But I think the rev limiter is above 6000. Motor won't turn more if it can't pull the prop regardless of the limiter.

an 09 etec is only going to pull to 6k. I highly doubt Rapair/cdi can do anything with the limiter in BRP motors. DFI technologies probably can, but won't due to legality issues.

You should be able to send it to OMC and ask them to change it,we used to do it with Mercurys,i know the blarney island crew is getting it done contact one of them..
