Is this motor too high??

221201221199221198If you notice the motor is as low as it can go. I was thinking the motor is too high What you guys think? Never had it in the water yet and I dont want to blow it up. I was thinking of putting a jack plate on it and lowering down a little.

Water pressure gauge. :) If the boat runs with some angle of attack it may be okay, but be sure you have a gauge on it and perhaps block off the upper two holes. Personally I'd stick a cone on it.
