Finally getting around to my old Sidewinder, and putting a list of "stuff" together for the Berkley, but on the model plate, what I can read for the model number is, J12YB-B-H-SS. What the hell is that?
Please Please someone jump in here!

sounds like a strange #, i have an old JB-A the A is the impeller cut,
what motor was originally in the boat? the b & g's are split bowls originally and other models can have these bowls added for droops or placediverters
are you registered on the sidewinder forum? I have a 74 CobraJet that is a Sidewinder SS clone

all the berkeleys i have seen start with a 12-j?-x . the ?is a letter a,b,g,f,c,etc to define the model of the pump. the next letter x is the impellor size and last the ss usually denotes that it is a stainless impellor originally, lucky you if it is still there. because your plate has the combination of a yj designation is there any possibility that this has been rrestamped or was/is a jacuzzi pump. some pics of the actual plate and the pump would be a great help to easily identify the pump.
