26-28p big ear chopper II... I had a heavy 4 seater, your gonna want at the least 8in of setback especially if you ride with 2 people up front a lot.

You shouldn't need a chopper my Eagle One (Mirage Copy) liked semi cleavers, Yamaha, SRX, custom cut. Noah at Eagle One cut down a 28 Chopper for me that pushed the boat over 110 with 260 w/ couple mods. Choppers usually run best on V bottoms top much bow lift for tunnels, my .02. I also ran about 1.5" above pad. Jerry

your eagle one was lighter then this 1400lb mirage! My 4 seater was probably 1400 before driver fuel and cooler

I ran a 30p chopper II and 10in setback when i had a few people in the boat since it would help carry the bow and did it very well. That same prop pushed my friends heavy 4seater/mod 260 113mph. When i was alone or had 2 people i ran my 34 et the bigger props are cause i like to keep R's down on my OMC. Your merc will turn up like you said 7500, i would try to find a 26-28 chopper II and give it a positive trim 30-75 you can feel the boat air out its very obvious it will also help get you through the 70-75mph hop they have when not trimmed correctly.

try the 28 again with the prop shaft centerline 1-1.5in above the bottom and 10in set back and a light load see what it does
