I realize that they will never be in the same category has some of the super fishing boats and I think the price reflects that.
Does anyone own a newer one on this site?
If so, what size?
What motor?
How does it handle?
They claim that they are wood free construction. How is the Gel work?
They really have no dealer network and limited help, that concerns me. How has there customer service been?
Any warranty issues?
Do you Florida boy see them around much and what is your impression?
Thanks in advance!

Cool.
With the twin steps I would imagine that it goes pretty well with twin 250's.

Seen a couple of them around here.....Of course they're made in Panama City which is not but an hour or so from me. Haven't heard any complaints. Nice looking performance boats.

Cool, they do look like nice boats.
I have read a few bad reviews, but out of hundreds or thousands of boats sold that is inevitable for any brand (almost any).
Thanks for the response.

I purchased a 2003 glasstream 27' scx with twin 225 mercs. This is the worst boat I have ever owned and I have owned a Bayliner (no offense intended). Outside of absolutely no attention to detail, the glass work is horrible, electrical wiring horrible, and the factory installed engines make the boat too heavy so it sits below the deck drains and will sink unless you add drain plugs or glass over drains (which will eliminate any self draining ability which doesnt exist unless you are underway). The transom cracked due to the engine weight and was told by the factory that the warranty was void because I was the second owner. Actually when taking off the factory install aluminum transom cover the top cap was above the hull mold and Glasstream had put some bondo to fill the void. The only good thing I can say about Glasstream Boats and their organization is that they have "hot models" and a great website but dont be fooled they "SUCK". I hope this thread saves somebody pain and suffering.

I almost bought a new one last year but after looking at a few used ones I changed my mind. Ended up with a 24 Spectre.
