After cruising around on Ebay, I found my old bike (well, one just like it) Makes me want to ride again, but hopefully it will sell before I do something silly... :p :D

I had 2 identical to this bike in college and the first coupe years here in Florida. Both of mine were mint, never laid down or beat to chit. My first one was stolen, and I was lucky enough to find a second in even better shape. I think it had 2k or 3k miles on it.

Anyway, just had to post it. These were the top 600 cc bike in the day, and still a great looking bike.

Yeah, it sure is hard to find a nice CBR, really any sportbike for that matter, let alone one that is 17 years old. I did email him but I didn't ask the resereve. I sold my last one back around 2000 or so for somewhere just shy of $5k.

Thats a super looking 600...always liked that color scheme. I have a 95 CBR1000F, pristene, 20,000, NFS...same mod's done too!..looks too nice sitting next my other old bikes.

Wonder if the bids will hit the reserve??

Not really, as do a high reserve, word out, see the best offered, then the side emails show up after auction, with an side offer. Yeah, against ebay rules, but F&*k ebay...like they are going broke anyway....they already got the "fees, for doing zip. And if ya wanna stay within ebay rules, so ya don't get banned if some jerk rattles on ya? Simple, tell the person wanting it, that you will put the bike up at a certain agreed time, again, with "Buy it now" price, and a high wanted. Couple for bucks ebay again, and its gone, within the rules, ebay. ..(aint a scam in the world, that can't be beat with another!)
PS....he should have grabbed the last bid...sounds good to me..aint gonna go much higher than the last bid..but who knows..

See now it's bad, cuz I just got an email from him with a price that'll buy it...seems that the last bidder wasn't so serious (typical Ebay chit)

Thats the way ebay/people work..."ya meet the dumbest people"..(but they work in "Tandem, or more.."...jack up, back out, then start the side crap".

At one time, ebay was fun, people real, last few years..turned to crap. I damn near quit ebay...rather die with my toys...( I can always make more money, never time, or old school cool ever made again..)

My brother "patchesII" used to have a 1994 model CBR 900 RR around about the year 1996 and he loved it... I rode it a few times and didn't have a negative thing to say about it... Great machines...

Those are OEM colors. The can was cut down. I think it was a Micron. I got that bike in 99 and it only had about 800 miles on it. It was used for drag racing by a guy named Chris Williams and I got it from a mutual friend in Orlando. It was pretty quick for a 600.

Here is a pic of another one.

I bought a brand new 94 600 f2 in late 93.It was right next to a new 93 900rr in the white/red/blue color scheme.I wanted that 900rr so bad it was unreal.I just new it wasnt the bike for me at the time,so I went with the 600f2 .About 5 years ago the same 93 900rr popped up on craigslist on mothers day. After dinner with mom, we flew over to the guys house to check it out.The bike was mint and had never been ridden in the rain. The bike was in the bed of our truck in within minutes.I have always thought the 93 900rr was the benchmark for sport bike as we know them. The white/red/blue color scheme still draws lots of looks even being 17yrs old.I think this bike will be in my garage for quite a while.

On the first real street sportbike, I think Honda put the world on its azz with the Interceptor. Had a Virago, and a Shovelhead. Dude at work shows up with this one day, and man, did that turn me on!

My buddy had two of them. First had a 500 and later upgraded to a 750. Both of them were the old style. Nice bikes. Even rode on the back of his 500 once, because I got a flat on my old bike (not the CBR). Did I mention, I hate being a passenger??? ;)

On the VFR..meet a guy that worked Lowes, in Electrical..we got to talking, and he had the VFR parked in front.."yellow"..sharp bike! Basic the hybrid, the old Interceptors. The dude at work, had the first? Interceptor, in yes, 83. The V4's, at least I know when they went in the Magna's..back then, did have a oiling problem, think the front overhead cams? But the then new V4's, were, well, EXTREMELY FAST, 750's. Have a old school from HS rider in West Virgina, (where I got my CBR from, shipped west coast)..he had a VFR800, and a VMax. Sold both, now a new Busa..and he's still kicks azz the backroads, at 62. They call him .."The old man, always in front the ride!"

On Fast Freddy, yep, but don't forget old Eddie Lawson..."took the "Green", and rode it MEAN! I would love to have the Eddie "replica", bike, Kaw came out with long ago!

I was not much a road race rider (yep, too much street though!)..liked racing dirt, Flattracking, Ice racing a 74 Elsinore CR 250 in winter..lotta fun the ice!..when the boats were snoozing winter. Some pix..
