VIRTUAL BOATERS MEET IN REAL WORLD! haha (sunday boating)

hey guys,

the weather today could not have been better.. and the turn out was realyl cool to! it was me, ronnie(viper), erik (drag ally), Phstboat (activator i think..rite?) mike bates in his hydrostream, and a few other people showd..o and guess who droped in GOOD OL' JERRY! haha.

anyway it was really fun, erik was running 113 all day untill ronnie lent him a drag prop and the eriks boat was just a rocketship off the line. ronnies boat ran will with a little "minor" problem in the begining of the day. phastboat's boat ran great execpt this whole lower unit blowing up thing:rolleyes: but once again ronnie with the unlimited amount of parts lent him a sportmaster which helpd phastboat gain 4MPH! and get rid of his blow out problem.

for me this was just the coolest day b/c not only did i get to ride in a crazy ass hydrostream and an ally drag boat.. BUT THEY LET ME DRIVE THEM :D :D :D i was only goin about 75mph in the drag boat and the stream (ronnies) but im 16 and these are pretty much the first real hi-perf. boats ive been in or even drivin.. so today was nothing short of AWSOME!

we got lots of video that ill get up somewhere for every1 to c.. man erik was FLYING with his new 260merc. and that drag boat!:eek:

These guy sure know how to hang it out! Ronnie in the 95's with a old mod vp motor. Eric 113 in choppy water! Thanks Ronnie, for extending the fun by loaning me that sporty. Better keep it locked up;) LET DO IT AGAIN! Lets get together to watch the video.

yes it was definitly one of the coolest weekends ever! i was happy to ride in the boats, and then erik asked me if i wanted to drive the drag ally.. the first problem occured when i sat in the drivers seat of both boats.. IM TO DAMN SHORT! i had to put padding under me to see over the dash of the ally, and a life jacket behind me so i could reach the pedal in ronnies viper. ones i got going it was really fun though! and after all this it just makes me want to get my boat done asap so i can go out and fly around in it.. even if it is feeezing outside.

im in the same exact situation. my dad let me drive the GW invader a few years ago (14 at the time) and since ive been hooked. now that i have the BAJA sittin in the back yard for the past year i have been tryin to figure out what im gonna do to it in between taking her out on the local rivers and haulin her up to the mountains to run in the crystal clear, cool stuff.

P.S.- if any one has a good idea for a paint scheme for this boat (practically the same as Scott's and Wet Spot) send me an e-mail at: bkonis@aol.com, id like to keep it black and blue with metal flake, but any ideas are welcome.

yo, gottago do u have any still pic's of my ally. maybe u can post a couple for me or e-mail me. i would really like to see how she hangs out. we had a great day and it was nice meeting all of u guys...just for the record the ally was running 114 mph at the end of the day. now i think i'm hooked on doing a little drag racing next summer....ronnie let me try his 22 yamaha and a bob's plate...i can't believe the hole shot and acceleration. i'm definitley hooked!!!!!

i should have my 30 hoss this week...i'm looking to hit the 120mph mark next time out.....keep u guys posted.

i can do even better! im gonna borrow ronnies video camera and put some video on vhs, and CD, and maybe greg will host it on the site also. so you can see your boat really movin.. and man does it fly!
