I can look up serial numbers but I can't find an EFI number for this? Its a Mercury 200 Anniversary Edition, stripe is kind of gold, says V200, serial is OC110xxx. Has numbers on the top of EFI 14632-A17. Its on a junky 21' bass boat with a 17p turbo and guy says it ran 62mph, though he has a second prop for it. Not been run in a couple years however, it does turn by hand looks good, was serviced 4yr ago saw the slip. Anyway we are talking about 1800obo for it and a friend was thinking of swapping his 2.4 175 off his bass boat for an upgrade. Guy said it was a '92. I was thinking this was a 2.5 but not into the V6s much trying to search for it. Boat is usable but transom is not that great, has cracks and seats not nice, clear on gel bad in places, etc. Trailer is not bad some rust on wheels, tandem, paint is good.

The number shows 1989 but don't see an EFI unless the lists I see don't have that for those years.

It should have gold metalic in the black on the cowl also.
Pretty sure it's a 1989 or 90 model 2.4.
I've only seen one other like it. Nothing special except the colors.

Thanks, maybe they bought it in '92 and it was a leftover. It is not black, could be gold in the paint its like a dark charcoal or something. The sticker is shaded gold in the band around the cowl. He wanted to make sure it would have more power on his boat or he would not bother. He has a mid 80s 2.4 175 carb on I think a 19' bass boat, it has sort of a tunnel bottom. His is very clean, this one does have some chips here and there but is not faded like the boat. Is very clean and new looking under the cowl, I didn't see any wear on the bolt heads. The slip said it had a blown head gasket they replaced it was overheating and running the buzzer, they tested it and said it was good to go. Is a reputable local place. Seems like a great price think he can get it for less, for the whole rig, then again nothing is selling that well here and this is not boat season lol...so I don't know. I told him to lowball it under 1500 and see what happened. The fuel in it stinks and will have to be flushed out. The trailer has to be worth 600 alone.

Well he bought it for 1300 and had to pay 50 more for the 21 SS ballistic prop. The 17 SS turbo on it is for pulling. What kind of deal you think that is, I was tempted to buy it but he was already on it, and all I would want is the motor its hard to sell them without one. Its a Champion 21' in rough shape but usable. The transom is bowed just a little at the outer edges of the center section but does not move when you rock the motor on it, transom is three sided on that. Pad looks ok, but has big stress cracks on the top edge ahead of transom and at transom, some in front where it bumped docks too. One crack into glass at top of transom at side of rear section looks like water ran in there and froze. Seats there but badly faded. He got the entire thing except the trolling motor I think though the bracket is on the front for it, got ropes/paddles/anchors/cover with a couple holes in it. It has some kind of shore power built in to the rear, gauges all there not sure what works no battery in it. I sure hope the motor is good lol. It has a smaller manual jack on it, power lift brand or something maybe a 5".

Anyone know if it would be much faster/etc than a 175 carb 2.4, it must be a 2.4 EFI 200.
