Anybody have a good way of getting the moisture out of a guage other than replacing it ? I got caught in a major down pour heading home from the lake and since then I've seen moisture in the gauge when the air temps change and then it shows up.

Turn on the inst. lites and leave them on for a day. The heat from the bulb will dry it out... Old cracker rigging trick is to have the inst. lites come on whenever the key is on. Keeps the gages dry and working.

Thanks, never gave that a thought..........I'll try that.........

Update: tried the leaving the dash lights on for two 24 hour days...........nothing. I ended up putting a clamp light with a 100 watt bulb directly in front of it for 12 hours.............moisture is gone. I must say that the gauge did get quite hot, 221 degrees by my IR temp gun, but no damage to the gauge or it's ability to still perform it's job.
