this is my favorite. i used to have a really cool looking black shirt w/ red and white trim on the sleeves when i was about 7 yrs old and i would wear this button to school on it like i was a Team Mercury driver. the other kids probably thought i was a dork?!?!

i think this was from a boat show or maybe a freebee in a old magazine. its a little ragged, i know i've had it for a long time, still pretty cool looking.

this one is pretty special. spent the day in Tom Percival's motorhome at philadelphia race that was a blowout in 79. he took our whole family in and was a super nice guy to talk with. he was sponsored here in the stateside races by a hot mustard maker. Tom was killed in a racing accident in 84, just as the safety cells he was helping develop were coming online. a sad loss.

dad would always bring me a patch, for my boat club jacket, from the races in havasu. these were 2 extras i think.

Didn't realise he ran that boat with those colours in the States as well as Europe.
