Removing ad an all threads

If an ad gets messy and too long in Marketplace, is it possible to remove everything and start fresh?

Yes. The original author of ANY post here can remove it from public view. Also, when requested by the thread's author, the moderators will usually remove any thread crapping, or similar negative comments that are added WITHOUT removing the rest of the post.
