kinda takin input now, fix mine, sell mine, buy another hull, cut the top off and grow flowers in it, maybe I could send peices of it to hydrostream in little packages everyday for the next 40 years lol, what a shame its a beautiful boat too, kinda like a dumb blonde, pretty on the outside dumb as **** on the inside, just what were they thinkin,i think between me and 175 checkmate we will come up with a plan, sure wish hydrostream would step up and help me out, word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, well done venting now, gotta go look at the vector again and scratch my head, there is supposed to be some of the best glass men around close to where I live.I used to have a vking should of never sold it,

Heartbreaking having your prize turn out to be Junk...
Hydrostream today is not the same company or even the same owners... Only the name is the same. Your old Vking was built exactly the same way by the same people using the same materals so most hydrostreams suffer the same fate. Only thing thing that helped was to install floor ancors (Installled correctly) Check out Hydrostream.org for more info... and keep them Dry when they were not in the water... however sometimes that could not even stop core rot... Its a big job but not impossible, when done right your boat will last almost forever.

He said what I was going to say. Hydrostream is the same in name only. Different location, people, etc. The original company died. It is now reserected by a new owner with visions of a super High quality product!!!!! It looks as though your choices are 1. recore your vector 2. buy a new V king from the New Hydrostream 3. take your chances buying another Vector/Vking that maybe another accident waiting to happen in which case you are out the cash you could have used to fix yours. Don't be in too big a hurry to decide. Good luck.

I have re cored a couple of vector, v-king,viper but have never seen an external delam like yours. Please don't knock the stream, have you ever seen a 1982 searay or bayliner still in one piece. Let's face it the boats i have repaired were made back when carter or reagan were in office. In the late 70s early 80s baltek coreing was high tech and few other companys even attempted a cored boat. If your going to recore one of these boat give me a e-mail there are a few tricks that could be helpful.
