It just got here at midnight last night. Here's some pics. It will be fully tricked out with all the cool stuff. I started rigging it this afternoon. It has a new 225 Optimax on it, but I can put any motor on it a buyer may want. NOW FOR SALE!!! Here's some pics before I start rigging.

I could see myself in one of those boats, not as quick as the euro but way more family friendly. What kinda speeds with the 300?

randy who has that flooring material and what is it vinl/rubber plastic ?

WILDMAN

The floor is a Pirelli vinyl floor in the bowrider. The closed deck has a new fiberglass innerliner tray floor. It's white textured gelcoat. It also has a recessed area made just for a foot throttle. The 21 runs 90 on GPS with the 300XS

Closed deck is a sweet ride! We had a 98 with a 225. It was a fun boat.

Nobody buys the actual Pirelli rubber flooring brand. Its cost prohibitive. But, since Pirelli was one of the first companies to come to market with this type product, back in the mid-80's, everyone calls it "Pirelli" flooring. Since then, there has been a dozen or more good quality variations of this same product, come into the marketplace. www.LonSeal.com is one of the better versions. They also offer LonCoin, LonCoin ll, LonWave, LonPlate, etc. Expensive to ship(especially full rolls), no matter what the brand, due to the weight. Lighter weight versions are what most cost conscience boat manufacturers, like Checkmate, use these days. You can buy small quantities(sizes) of the same product that CheckMate uses, at www.AmericanMatRubber.com Hope this helps.

Some of the usual lightweight polypropylene grass type carpet is quick & easy & cost effective. Its easy on the feet & looks finished. Easy to just replace every few years too.

Randy, How much $ is just the boat, no trailer, no motor, unrigged...as it comes from CheckMate? (sportdeck 21)

WILDMAN

The boat with standard rigging, delivered to Fl., is $22,200, $21,000 if you go pick it up in Ohio. I sell all Checkmates at 10% over cost. You'd get guages, cleats jackplate, bilge pump, horn, all wiring, lights, radio, dual cable steering, grab bars, and some other stuff. You can get a bare boat, but they only knock off about $800. I always take all the standard rigging and just tell them to stick all the parts in the boat. Then I sell the parts.

That explains all the parts laying on the deck, in that one picture, lol. What is CheckMates suggested retail on said boat? thanks

LOL:D

The 2100 Checkmate Pulsare came into production in the mid 90's (1994 if memerory serves me right).

The hull and deck have, for the most part, remained unchanged due to its popularity and strong following.

Doug Smith (BAJA) took over in 2007/2008.

My point....That is a far cry from a BAJA.

100% Checkmate like it or love it.

"My point....That is a far cry from a BAJA.

My point is, while the design is Checkmate, and a fine design it is, it rolls out of the BAJA plant, off the BAJA assembly line.

WILDMAN

It really has nothing too do with Baja. The main difference I see, is that the rigging parts are of a much higher quality. The boats are still laid up as all the Checkmates have always been. Still one of the best finished and straightest hulls I've ever seen.

Checkmates still "roll" off of the same "assembly line" as they have for decades. The CHECKMATE PLANT in Bucyrus, Ohio.

The Baja plant is across town.

I'm gonna let the thread go back to being about a beautiful boat for sale.

Have a good one. :smiletest:
