are omc parts readily available?

the v-8 for instance if you blow one apart are there sources for parts or are they junk? how about soft parts like ignition and things like that?

If we are talking about a production V8 IE 250,275,300GT/XP, 3.6GT/XP then almost none of the parts have been totally discontinued only superseded to updated numbers/designs. If we are talking about a race V8 IE F1 3.5L, F1 3.0L, Offshore 3.5L then parts are essentially all NLA through Bombardier. Some parts can be sourced through aftermarket or remanufactured/rebuilt channels but not everything.
