hey guys, i need your help
is there a gasket or something that goes in between the windshield molding and the deck of the v king ? i would also like to have your suggestions on floor mounting a seat.
i like the slide/swivel bracket but i'm concerned it would put the seat too high. i am almost finished this boat and will post pictures soon
thanks for your help:cheers:

I'm fairly certain my windshield has never been off my boat and it has what appears to be a double sided adhesive foam between the deck and windshield (full of dirt etc etc and poorly installed mind you) but I can't see if there is a similar deal between the windshield and bottom trim piece...I would bet most likely not.

Are you installing the trim straight to the deck minus windshield??? If so I would venture to guess that you might want to use something similar so if/when the rivets work a loose you dont end up digging holes in your deck from vibrating trim. Lets see some pics!!!!

There is a foam gasket with the adhesive side underneath the windshield. The aluminum trim piece screws over the windshield through the gasket and deck.
