Man that sucks!!! :nonod: Looks like you did a nice job and I bet it will look great again. Can you salvage the liner?
BTW nice wheelie! :)
That must be heart breaking:nonod:. You did an awesome job, just have a few beers and get on with it, hopefully its not as bad as it seems. I always wanted to play with one of those Bobcats, and yes nice wheelie:thumbsup:

Thanks for the info. I really like the way it came out. I have a future project I want to keep that stuff in mind for. I bookmarked that site.
That curvy deck just looks classy even though I hate working with curves like that.

How do you manage the maintenance on a pool and a boat??? God Bless You.

I heard a tremendous crash about three o'clock this morning. I convinced myself that our neighborhood raccoon had come through the cat door and knocked something heavy over in my workshop so I could go back to sleep. I get up this morning and find that the pear tree behind my house got overloaded with pears and dropped a huge limb full of pears onto my roof. It might have been helped by the raccoon since I see them up in it eating pears.....

Thanks for all the Compiments. I'll fix it
I used Google sketchup 7 3d Software to design it.
Took some time but I was able to get the shape we were looking for.
Very cool and accurate for anyone building a project
Even did my beam up. you can just grab it an flip it over to look at different areas
<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=1zp73mr" target="_blank"><img src="http://i25.tinypic.com/1zp73mr.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
Made a few running changes, but it helped alot, you can grab a tape measure in the software and check dimensions

I'll throw out a positive note. At least that branch didn't fall on your house. A damaged roof in that rain would have caused a lot more damage. It is an awesome deck tho.

Couple things
I called the Pool company, I purchased online.
Familypoolfun.com, They gave me the pool and Upgrades at cost.
I highly recomend them
If you do a pool yourself like this, Always go for the Liner upgrade
I bought a Unibead the second round. Install took 1/3 the time to put up, and
I never had to curse once :0
Also, bought the Gorilla pad for the bottom and foam for the burm along the pool wall
Worth every penny

Kept having to run in to the AC plus I have a nasty Summer cold.
Just glad that parts Done
Cant take credit for the Compass Rose
My brother in Law did 95% of it.
I designed it, and did the prep work. He made the actual insert. We even orientated it in the right direction. First Pic in Post #34 is facing west, Pic 2 in that post is S
Looks even better after I cleaned off all the dirt and washed the Deck

Nice job bro!

I too am taking down several Oaks on my property this weekend before a Hurricane helps me(the wrong way) this year...Those black carpenter ants have invaded several of my oaks. They play havoic on the interior ,, and you only get to see the damage AFTER the tree splits and falls.
