Have a friend in Manitowish Waters. He's ready to kill anyone with the DNR. First they let out too much water, then too little, they NEVER get it right! But its a government thing, so what else to expect. Guess your getting more rain now, or soon, looking the weather this morning..

That's a compensation to be parallel to superfast downhill water, except when I run My boat it seems to go uphill...

Yep, we had little rain over winter, zero snow, but stayed cool for too damn long! Saying "La Nina", this year off the ocean, so could be another year like the one before last, as one day, we got 10 inches snow! Average 3 inches here, Puget Sound. And gone in a day, me sea level. What was it, 1999? Mt Baker got 100 FEET OF SNOW, rained down here sea level, almost daily 60/70 days? We had the south end here the HOA, on a hill, lost 38 houses to land slides! And recorded history, what FEW we actually know, its freaking NORMAL...
And if anyone thinks Al Gore's spit is the cause, hell no! Its a way to take nature, and profit from it. I hate that useless scumbag...(Dave, your the "wet sides the mountains, right?", or east..forgot...Robby

We are in a valley Rocky Mtns to the East, Selkirks to the west. The lake gets its water from the Rockies on the East side.

OK, remember found ya on an atlas..that some pretty territory up there, in between the "bumps"! I guess at least, (probably better, less "masses"..)..as done both side Rockies, and both sides the "Kirks/Sawtooths", in the US, on my Harley. Places to live? FLA might be OK, but zero "Bumps", 300 miles, one curve, on a bike. Here? 300 curves, 10 miles, up the backside Mt St Helens. AZ?..sorry, I own a frying pan, no need to do a "fry an egg on the road", and they have to go down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, to see what a mountain looks like, and thats only a mile deep?
HA!, Mt Rainier here, ya ride from sea level, up to the highest road at 5000 + feet, then look up at the other 9000, that ya need climbing boots to hike to the summit!
I simply NEED my mountains! And lets not complain, docks a foot or so either way...water?
We have here, bottom of Puget Sound. TIDES..MASSIVE SWINGS!
Try daily, TWICE A DAY, stuff thats unbelievable!. Boat launch here the private HOA, only usable for a few hours daily. Here the charts, for this weekend, as I need to pull my boat out the slip, been 3 weeks, barnacles making a home. 3 weeks in, and gotta get it out without no bottom paint!

Couple pix off the cams, the marina here. I'm slipped the far end, facing the log breakwater, second in, next to the blue 28 foot Flybridge. Thats my 25 footer next it, both pix. At high tide, the upright logs, are only 3 feet above ya!.
