I was looking at the August issue of RC Heli magazine and I noticed a photo of a Conion C-100F boombox radio from the 1980s (given to me by my older brother who owned it since new). I looked at it again and thought, "That looks just like a photo I took of mine." I checked my photo and sure enough, it's mine. I can't even remember where I posted this, but I must have posted this photo somewhere a while back.
Not very professional of a magazine - still, it's funny.

Yeah they were great. Anyone that hasn't lived in the time when you could carry one of those playing Iron Maiden hasn't lived a full childhood. :D

Yeah that's a fact iron maiden... Run to the hills was one of my favorites
My parents had a SHARP "ghetto blaster" when I was a kid. Nice Japanese unit, sounded good.
Pretty lame that they stole your photo, but they do this stuff all the time with various images they collect off the internet...

Should have watermarked it! ;)
That wouldn't do for us anyway. We had a large icechest with two Pioneer TS698s and a GM120. Too bad I don't have pics! ;)

I remember the kid across the street had a big ol' "Box" back in the day, it was too expensive for My Parents to justify the purchase... I remeber it held about 5,000 batteries and We used to crank up KISS, Crue, Cinderella, Maiden, Boston, and all the other rock, metal, hair bands and all other music of the day... We lived in an indecent neighborhood, so We saw alot of these being carried on shoulders playing the new sound that everyone was getting into called "Rap"... Those were the days of cool jam boxes, cool video games and arcades, BMX's, 3-wheelers, Trans-Ams, rock music, VCR's, and awesome movies... I miss those days badly, or maybe just the age that I went through it...
