I had an experience about two years ago when a 11 y/o girl ran out on her bike on a side street and struck the side of the car I was driving,no fault of mine but it still haunts me everytime I drive down side streets to this day....Thankfully she didnt get hurt to bad just a nice cut on the side of her head but my 5 y/o daughter was in the car and seen it all..... Yes it only takes one second to change your whole life

Had the exact same thing happen to me, I still see that little boys face plastered on my side window in nightmares from time to time. I wake up in a cold sweat and won't sleep for the rest of the night after those dreams. I don't think that image is ever going to leave since it happened 25 years ago and I still see it, I am very careful driving by buses because the boy ran out from in front of a bus trying to catch another bus. I had the light and didn't do anything wrong traffic wise but wish it didn't happen, he got up and ran away but it shook me pretty hard...to this day I don't drive down that side street EVER!

they need to make everyone getting a new license watch this, its a wonder it doesnt happen more than it does I95 here in south florida is a sea of fools i think half of these clowns bought a license with out proving they can drive or know the rules of the road, ive seen j/as reading novel books news papers and texting on the phone is out of control, half the clowns i see swerving all over the road or driving slower the traffic is texting. that defiantly needs to be in every driving school.

They should show that every Friday in schools. People just don't seem to take driving serious where I live. I do my best to keep aware of what is going on around me. I take driving serious, but I'm not perfect. Ya never know when things could change.
A good reason to make sure your car insurance is good enough to make sure ya don't end up bankrupt from a "fender bender".

the screen name was given to me by a journeyman desiel tec when I was an aprintenst, The fatel accedent hapened one night I was driving a 1985 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 on a service road about 45 - 50 mph when a car aproached the road and roled thru the stop sign and started turning left, (I did NOT have a stop sign) locked up the brakes and hit the side of her car strait on, I ran to the car and all I seen was an old ladys head shaking against the side window, the doors were all locked and I couldn't get in,seconeds later a cop showed up while on his way to work and used a tool to break the rear door window open, but her head was no longer shaking...........84 year old "Flora" was dead:(
